Looking for an all inclusive resort with a reasonably priced (or cheap) over water bungalow

I’ve been looking at places in Tahiti, Maldives, Bora Bora, etc.. All look very nice but it’s almost too many options. I also heard that some of these resorts have had mediocre food and drinks. If possible, I wanted to try to do under 1k a night but i know that can be a reach in some places
