I'm a tad overwhelmed having never been to Mexico or the Caribbean. Is Jamaica OK that time of year? is Riveria Maya ok? Has anyone been to Aruba? Are Sandals resorts worth it?

Looking for help in picking an all inclusive resort for our honey moon in late Oct/early Nov. Preferred destination is the Caribbean or Mexico, budget is $6-$8K, & dates are Oct 29 – Nov 4. Food/Drink is a priority & we’d love to do some local activities or excursions. We’ll be flying out of MI.
