Looking for July honeymoon recs

We are getting married in July and really want to get away to the beach. I know we could get great deals in the Caribbean, but don't really want to risk it with hurricane season. So we have been looking more at Mexico and other parts of Central America as well as some of the far Southern Caribbean that seems to be out of the path of most hurricanes. We'd love a balcony with a plunge pool or hot tub. It seems like most places I have found with that don't actually look very private though. I have seen The Fives in Playa Del Carmen has penthouse suites and Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres has a plunge pool suite and rooftop jacuzzi suites. Those both look like they are right on top of the room next door though. Can anyone recommend a place they loved with a private outdoor space (preferably with a plunge pool or hot tub)?
