My fiancée and I are having a January wedding, and planning on immediately following it with our honeymoon to Madeira and The Canary Islands (with possible stops in Lisbon and Madrid). We’ve been reading travel blogs and watching videos and it seems they mostly focus on the outdoors activities, which is great but we are also looking for recommendations on some wine tasting and other stuff to do besides the hiking and beaches. The main reason for the possible stops in Lisbon or Madrid is because we may have layovers in those cities and figured a couple nights to see a small amount of the city would be nice but those places definitely aren’t the main destination for this trip. Looking for any advice for the best way to make the most of our honeymoon.
