Maui Hotel Recommendations?

Hello fellow planners! I’m currently researching our hotel options in Maui for next May. I would prefer to stay in Kihei or Wailea, but I wouldn’t mind the west side either if the hotel fit our needs. Our budget is under $500 a night, so it’s ruling out a lot of the fancy resorts. We’re hoping to stay beachfront with an ocean view and big pool that is not kid oriented. The adults only hotels that I’ve seen are also out of budget unfortunately. My first choice is a beautiful B&B that is sold out right in the middle of our trip.

Any recommendations?
