Mediterranean honymoon

I’m planning a honey moon from 24/9-14/10 and eager to hear suggestions. We’re looking for somewhere warm, has a heritage and with the option of a resort. Somethings that come to mind are Tuscany and northern Italy, greek isles and perhaps Portugal/ spain.
