Mexico – West Coast vs East Coast

Any pros and cons people could share? We are in our early 30s, doing a mini honeymoon redo as we had to cancel our original one planned for end of March 2020 (ugh, the timing!).

We’ve had people recommend Puerto Vallarta – but of course Cabo and, mostly, Cancun have popped up the most in my searches. Open to other ideas or just overall comparison of the two.
