Mobility aids and a fun honeymoon

My fiancé and I are looking for ideas for a laid back honeymoon. I use a walker to get around, so we need to choose somewhere that is disability-friendly.

We already live in an amazing area that many people spends thousands of dollars to visit. We are close to beaches and surrounded by beauty. We could stay close to home and save a lot of money, but we are also thinking it might be nice to go somewhere new and interesting.

We are thinking that a cruise might be a nice compromise. I can manage quite a bit of walking as long as I can sit (thus the walker). Plus, we are foodies and we’d love to gain 10 lbs gorging ourselves silly lol. Does anyone here have experience using a mobility aid on a cruise?

Another consideration is that he uses cannabis to manage chronic pain. Staying within Canada where this is legal means that he’d still be able to have his weed. He says he’d be fine for a week without it, but I’d hate for him to be in pain. This isn’t a dealbreaker by any means, but it would be nice.

Thanks!
