Name changr before flight?

I'm hoping this is the right space for this! Wanting to get the ball rolling on my name change but have flight tickets in my maiden name.

If I start the process as soon as I get the marriage license (hopefully this week), I should be fine to travel with my maiden name documents right? Traveling memorial day week. I'm thinking it takes a while for the change to go through so I should be fine sending in paperwork for the change before I leave.

Only traveling within the U.S. and won't be changing my driver's license until I get back.
