Passport/name change help!

I am getting married in June 2022 (next month!). My fiancé and I will be going tomorrow to apply for our marriage license. I will be changing my last name to take his. . We are going on our honeymoon a little over 2 months after the wedding. We’re going out of the country – to Mexico. We both already have our passports. I have everything booked under my current (soon to be “maiden”) name. . Sooo. My question. Is there anything I need to know, or should worry about, since I’ll be married with a new last name (like “in the system”/legally/idk haha) but using my passport and everything with my maiden name? Should I wait to change my last name? . And any other tips for our appointment tomorrow are welcome. Thanks!
