October 2025 Europe ( Kos or Fethiye )

Would appreciate your advice or suggestions.

My partner and I are getting married on 10th October. We had planned a bit of a trip to Thailand but since learning of Zika virus, my partner is just too anxious to risk it given that we will likely be TTC. So options were basically, given our budget, Mauritius or a European destination that is still warm around October. We decided that Mauritius, although lovely, was a 11/13 hour flight, for a hotel that given our budget doesn't exactly look amazing.

Now onto the options, we are looking at Kos or somewhere like Fethiye in southern Turkey for a bit of late european sun. For the same price we can get a swanky AI hotel with a private swim up pool. We understand it won't be summer heat but can hope for mid 20s most days which is still sunbathing weather and actually nicer for exploring?

Another question would be for both places, if anyone has experience, will places still be open? Aim is to do 10 nights in either place but just looking for advice or suggestions for other destinations here.
