October Switzerland/Northern Italy Honeymoon

I'm getting married next October and we're trying to plan our honeymoon. We were thinking Northern Italy/Switzerland. I'm a bit overwhelmed in what cities to choose. I definitely want to do Lake Como for a few days but other than that I'm open to suggestions! We're looking for a mix of cozy, scenic, and romantic. We're not big adventurers and we're looking for something a little slower paced, We like to walk around and see the sights, architecture, food, wine, museums, a little shopping, scenic views. Also, I don't want to do too much hoping around to different hotels. Any tips or ideas? Will Italy and Switzerland still be nice in early to mid October? Should we just stick to Italy? I'm still very early on in planning so still open to other places that would be nice in October.
