Our hotel is refunding us, and we’re not sure where to go instead. Help!

So we had planned a 5 day honeymoon to Lake Tahoe, but the hotel we plan to stay at is going renovations on the main waterfront amenities, and offered us a full refund. Considering we would be paying nearly 4k for the flights (haven’t booked yet thank god), and hotel combined before food and activities, we’re a little relieved to be getting our money back, but are at a loss for what to do for our honeymoon.

Are there any other ideas for less than 4k out there?
