Looking for ideas for a non-traditional honeymoon. Both my fiancé and I don't like beaches/oceans/swimming and would rather spend our honeymoon hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, fishing, backpacking, etc. We live in a rural area of Colorado and are getting married in Crested Butte, so most Colorado locations we've already been to. (Guest ranches like C Lazy U and Drowsy Water are great options for others though!) We would prefer to stay in the US so that we don't have to travel as long, although we have dreamed of traveling to the Alps or the Dolomites but that isn't in the budget right now. Ideally we would spend $6K or less for about a week. Any suggestions on where we should go or stay?
