Planning Caribbean Honeymoon

My fiancé and I are planning our honeymoon to the Caribbean after we get married in June 2023. We’ve been to numerous all inclusive resorts in Jamaica, DR and Mexico and have been un-impressed with the quality of food/meals at each resort (We’ve stayed at Royaltons, Iberostars and Barcelos). We know these are mid-tier resorts and we knew that going into our trips.

However, given it’s our honeymoon, we agreed we want to prioritize quality of food, nearby golf and fun excursions for our honeymoon. The pools, quality of rooms, and “party” vibe doesn’t matter to us as much. Besides sleeping in the room, we are rarely in our rooms so slightly outdated is fine with us. We’ve heard good things about Sandals quality of food, any other resort chains we should look into? Total budget is $12k for 8-10 days. Thank you in advance!
