Question about resorts in Europe

My fiancé and I are looking to honeymoon in either Portugal, Spain, or Greece in June/July 2025. We're definitely the type that likes to lounge and relax, but with the opportunity to go explore for a few days.

I know all-inclusives, or resorts in general, aren't the same in Europe as they are elsewhere. However, I don't know exactly how. Can someone please share what it's like to stay at a resort in Europe, and why it's unique compared to other places?
