Recommendations for Last Minute Honeymoon Locale

Hi all,

My fiancee and I had booked our honeymoon for Maui at the end of August (traveling Aug. 29 – Sept. 5). Given the huge crisis on the island, we decided to rebook–but have already taken work off and are looking to find a decent alternative last-minute.

Ideally, we'd fly from the West coast of the US. We were thinking Cabo?

Any other good recommendations for something relatively low-stress / easy to book last minute? Any particular issues with Cabo in August, or recommended hotels for honeymooners?
