Resorts in Sardinia and Sicily

Im looking for resorts on the emerald coast of Sardinia or in Sicily. We plant to stay for a week in England and then hit the beaches. We aren’t sure where to go though.

We plan to go in late September. England is fulfilling my wants in a honeymoon. All he wants to do is sip on a drink on the beach at a resort. It would be nice if there was some cool history stuff near by but the main focus is a nice resort with a gorgeous beach.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
