Roast my Honeymoon (South/Southeast Asia)

I'm looking for any and all insight on if this plan is absolutely insane and we’ll hate ourselves….or if we’ll get just the right amount of the best of all worlds…

Planning a honeymoon to South/Southeast Asia next June traveling out of New York the 12^th-28^th. Rough itinerary I’m currently going back and forth on below… We’re targeting a mix of beach, city & sights, beach again.

• Flight: NYC/Maldives (Stay 14^th-17^th)

• Flight: Maldives/Bangkok – Bangkok/Chiang Mai/Chiang Rai (Stay 17^th-23^rd)

• Flight: Chiang Mai/Koh Sumai (Stay 23^rd-28^th)

• Flight: Koh Sumai/NYC (28^th)

Am I overthinking this or is it doable/enjoyable?
