Rome, Naples, Amalfi Cost, and Paris. 10 Days?

After looking around for a few months most countries were either extremely dangerous, rough for tourists, or very expensive we found flights to Italy not being too bad comparatively, we’re flexible on timing so we’re looking around March of next year when it’s a little cheaper to fly. We just had a beach trip recently and might be going to another east coast beach next year so getting in the water isn’t a big deal to us. How feasible is this for 10+/- 2 days? We were looking at flying into Rome, spending a couple days, driving to Naples for a couple days, drive to amalfi for a day, then drive back naples and take a flight to Paris for 2 days then back. Then fly back out of Rome to AZ where we live. I’m not too worried about travel time as long as we get to sight see on the way, I’m the kind of person that will drive 12 hours to spend 18 hours somewhere and then drive 12 hours back. If this doesn’t sound too terrible then what sights or things to do would people recommend?
