My Fiancé and I are getting married November 2025, and I like to plan so I am looking at potential honeymoon locations and accommodations now so I know exactly what we are doing when the time comes to book. We want to stay under 6-8k. Going to the upper range of that would need to be because of excursions and upgrades. I really want this to be a special trip (obviously). We live in the southwest US and want somewhere warm, beachy, relaxing, with opportunities for adventuring if we want. We are thinking 7-10 days. I was looking at the Caribbean, but I couldn't find something that seemed worth the cost. I am open to all suggestions and personal experiences, but I want to emphasize that we want a safe location for American tourists. I love Mexico, but we went last year and my fiancé couldn't truly relax. It could be that we had a bit of a trek getting to our destination though.
