Sandals/other suggestions for September 2025

Good evening!

My fiancé and I are planning our honeymoon and wedding for September 2025. We want some place that is all inclusive, tropical and with activities..

So we have been heavily considering Sandals in St. Lucia as well as Curaçao. Now, I went through a lot of different forums on if sandals is a good choice for a honeymoon, and came up with the only shortage that sometimes they will be stingy on their "travel insurance" package and that they won't refund it due to certain circumstances. Now, my only hesitation for these resorts is that they are very popular and seem to have this sort of "cliche" aspect to it being a honeymoon destination. We are a young couple (mid 20s) that are looking for a memorable experience to last a lifetime. Thus, I'm looking for some advice to bring back to her on our honeymoon decision list…

For those who have gone: what kind of room did you get, did you go around this time, did it fulfill all your expectations, and at the end of the day, did you feel that the price was worth it?

For those who were considering it but decided to forego: why did you decide this and where did you go (preferably asking those who traveled during the same time we anticipate going)?
