My fiance has never seen snow before so we are looking into taking advantage of our February honeymoon to go see some snow. Neither of us have been to mountain resorts before or been skiing/snowboarding. Our interests would be more things like spas, enjoying a lodge atmosphere, cocktails by the fire, shopping, tubing, hot tub, dog sled or snowmobile.
We are in central Texas, looking to fly less than 4 hours ideally. Any suggestions for destinations that are most romantic? Our budget is $6000 for 6 nights, excluding flights.
