I planned and booked everything myself and am super proud of it and some of the deals I got! Will be in May.
South of France honeymoon:
2 nights, 3 days in Paris after destination wedding in the Loire Valley (northern France)
3 nights, 4 days in Avignon (at adorable family owned hotel, with rental car to explore Gordes, Lacoste, etc.)
4 nights, 5 days in Aix-en-Provence (at Villa Gallici, with rental car)
1 night in Saint Maxime (at a cute little family owned hotel just so we don’t have to drive so far to Monaco in one day)
3 nights, 4 days in Monte Carlo (at Hotel de Paris, return rental car)
6 nights, 7 days in Nice (at Airbnb – we might get another car for a day trip or two but mostly want to relax, maybe go to Cannes, Saint Tropez, etc by boat or train)
3 nights, 4 days in Eze (at Chateau Eza)
3 days, 2 nights in Paris before flying home (at Park Hyatt Paris – CC points baby!)
The itinerary may seem a little wonky/out of order with how we are doing things, but its based on availability and best prices at some of the high-end hotels we want to stay at.
We’ll be mostly 5 stars all the way except in Nice, where we have a nice little apartment through Airbnb. Everything is already booked.
If you’ve done south of France for your honeymoon, what do you think?!
