Spain/Morocco Planning

Hey All,

My wife and I are planning a two week honeymoon to Spain and Morocco in late September.

We want to balance cultural experiences with good time together so we were thinking of spending a week in each country and then splitting our time between two cites. Leaning towards Barcelona & Seville for Spain, Fes & Marrakesh for Morocco. What do y’all think of these selections? They seem like great cultural capitals and hubs for day trips.

Dream is to start in Barcelona, take a train to Seville & Ferry to Morocco (dunno how we’d get to Fes from there).

Any suggestions on day trips, lodging, activities or restaurants would be greatly appreciated.

Fwiw we’re from NYC & fairly good travelers. I don’t drink either.
