Struggling to pick a location for summer 24

I am getting married this July, and as a teacher, my main availability for a honeymoon are the months of July and August. We would love to go to Italy, but it seems as though July/august are the worst times to go (heat, crowded). I would love recommendations for anywhere, budget flexible but around 10k. We have never traveled together outside of the US and are open to anything, we just have no idea where to start!
