My wife and I have been rescheduling our Hawaii honeymoon multiple times all year, and now we're doing it yet again. Hawaii's covid rules make traveling there from the east coast a little difficult and make island hopping impossible. So we're looking at alternatives. Mainly, we're focusing on the Caribbean, but we're open to suggestions.
First and foremost, we're looking for a destination that's not a high risk due to covid rules. We can't risk loosing thousands on this. Next, we are looking for seclusion and luxury. Something private and beautiful, yet something that will offers a lot of nice amenities. We're not super outdoorsy, but we might be interested in some easy hikes and such. We mostly want beach time, massages and saunas, great food, water activities, and romantic couples activities.
We've been looking into st. Lucia, st. Kitt, and Anguilla. I'd really like to hear other people's experiences traveling during covid. What kind of hoops did you need to jump through? What activities or events were opened/closed? How did covid affect your visit? Any recommendations for destinations and resorts? Thanks!
