Tahiti / Moorea / Bora Bora

Hi all! For those of you fellow planners, hope things are going well!

Wanted to see if anyone here has traveled to the French Polynesian. It looks absolutely dreamy and the perfect way to relax after a wedding. Looking at an 8-night, 2 island Costco package that would put us around $14k flights + lodging. One of the hotels is a 4.5 start, the other a 5 (with owb). It seems like a crazy amount of money to drop on 8 days especially after paying for a wedding. 😭

Ultimately just looking for – is it worth?!?
