Hi all, my fiance and I are planning to spend a few days in Monterey for our honeymoon later this year. I was hoping to get some up to date opinions on these hotels.

We're looking for something romantic, updated, nice views and the feeling of seclusion would be nice. Although I know that's probably not these hotels specialty so it's not vital.
Our plan is pretty much to lounge and relax, since we'll be visiting Disneyland for 4 days leading up to our stay in Monterey.
Specific room recommendations would help, if you've stayed at either hotel. we're willing to go for the suite if it's worth it. After all you only honeymoon once… Right?
