Tips for safari/Zanzibar honeymoon?

Hi everyone!

My fiancé and I are getting married this June and planning our honeymoon for November. We went back and forth between doing Japan + a beach destination or going with an African safari + beach combo — and we ultimately decided on the African route, which we’re super excited about.

Here’s what we’ve got planned: • Arrive in Tanzania on Nov 7 • Go on a 7-day safari hitting the main parks: Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara, and Tarangire • On Nov 14, fly to Zanzibar for 7 nights of beach time — we booked Zawadi Hotel after a ton of research and it looks incredible • Head home on Nov 21

The dates are pretty set since we found a great deal on business class flights from LAX with Turkish Airlines.
