We are struggling to find a honeymoon destination that has good weather during our desired time range of late August/early September (2025).
Our criteria: 1. Tropical destination with beautiful beaches 2. Another attraction other than beach time — rainforest, mountains, etc 3. Ability to immerse ourselves in a new, interesting culture 4. Less than a 24 hour travel day from the Eastern US 5. Budget $5000 not including plane tickets
Places we like and why they won’t work: 1. Phuket, Thailand — monsoon season 2. Grenada — hurricane season and rainy season 3. Costa Rica — rainy season 4. Bali — 36 hours of travel to get there
