Tropical Honeymoon

For those that have visited or lived in Miami/Florida and did their honeymoon in Hawaii, Caribbean, or French Polynesia, did it feel worth it?

Given Florida’s beauty, palm trees, Caribbean-colored water, resort-like amenities, access to the Keys and Everglades, etc. wondering if any of these destinations (and any particular countries/islands in them) feel and offer something so meaningfully different.

Appreciate thoughts! Trying to figure out if Southern Europe (off Spain, Portugal, Italy) would be a better option.
