Unico 2087 Alternatives?

Hi everyone, my fiancé and I are narrowing down our honeymoon plans and are debating a few locations. We tentatively booked Unico 2087 since they were having a great sale, but are continuing to look and decide.

I saw some reviews saying Unico food was actually bad (previously I saw people rave about the food) as well as issues with housekeeping and bell boy theft. I also saw more mentions of the pools having no chairs left past 8am.

If you had to pick an all-inclusive 5 star resort with great dining or a 5 star resort near great dining with: – Beach and pool access (the beach doesn’t have to perfect, sugar white sand) – Ability to do zip lining, horseback riding, local history trips, etc. – Entertainment onsite or walkable to other happenings – Is in Riviera Maya, Tulum, Cancun, Belize, Costa Rica, Mallorca, Portugal, or the Carribean islands – Ideally under $700/night for a room with some semblance of a view – A beautiful, fresh interior design (this is the one trip we’ve agreed we’ll look for somewhere with a nice aesthetic that we would usually not pay for) – Safe atmosphere

What place would you recommend? Time frame is May 2024 for 6 nights.

I previously stayed in a deluxe ocean view suite at Andaz Maui on points and loved it; hoping for a similar vibe. My fiancé speaks Spanish and Portuguese so it doesn’t have to be a place solely catered towards US tourists.
