We are thinking of going to the French Riviera and Florence/Venice approximately august 23- sept 5. Ideally we’d go a week or two later, but we have several friends September weddings we’re contenting with. I’ve done some research and looks like most of France is on summer holiday in august starting school sept 1, and Italy sept 15. How busy do you think it would be with both European and American tourists? We don’t want it to be extremely crowded but we’re ok with some crowds. Went to Amalfi coast sept 9-19 previous years and that was totally fine
