Hi everyone! I just had a destination wedding and because my job is fairly demanding and taking significant time off is difficult, my wife and I decided to punt our honeymoon to 2025. My wife did 90% of the wedding planning so the job of honeymoon planning is now on me and I don't really have the time to take care of all the minutiae. I'm hoping to spend +-$50K (after utilizing cc/airline rewards!) for a ~2 week trip, including flights. We know we want to spend a few days in Tokyo plus a few days in Kyoto but not sure what to do after. The Tokyo + Kyoto part of the trip will be all about food and exploring so l'd like that to be followed by somewhere we can sit on the beach and "veg out." We are big foodies, value top notch service, and are willing to do something different than the typical "bungalow over water in Bora Bora" (although maybe we're open to that too!).
I'm also searching for a luxury travel advisor who can take the lead on planning. Ideally, someone who can handle everything: securing top-tier restaurant reservations, crafting detailed daily itineraries, and providing support if any issues arise during the trip. I'm happy to pay a fee!
Would love your recommendations for (1) Tokyo and Kyoto hotels, (2) a beach destination for the second part of the trip, and (3) a travel planner who can make this a seamless and unforgettable experience.
Thank you in advance!
