My wife and I just got married a few weeks ago, and due to a number of factors are waiting until late December to take our honeymoon. We're looking at going to Europe (Germany, Austria, Prague etc.) but don't have any set plans, and even the destinations aren't fully set, just what we're looking at on a first pass.
Flying out of the U.S., what would be the best country to fly into cost wise?
With it being around Christmas/NYE, what are some must-see countries/locations to check out? We'd like to avoid super touristy areas, but like experiences, hiking/skiing/museums, good food and drinks, and good ole fashioned relaxing and just enjoying the area and meeting the locals and learning about the country. Any help would be appreciated!
