We're getting married in December and we are looking for a place to go on a Honeymoon from about the 16th of December to the 2nd of January. We can come back later or earlier but we can't leave before the 16th.
Does anyone have any suggestions on where to go? We hate beaches, have been to Mexico and the Caribbean (we're not interested in going again [looking for something new]), and prefer a place that isn't humid. We really want Japan or other Asian countries but it's just too out of budget for us and we worry about going without a guide because we don't speak the languages.
We're looking maybe to spend $1,000-2,000 per person for everything. Is this possible? We're fine with most anywhere in the US or out! Edit: Flying in from Southern California
