Italy honeymoon in February- first time in europe

Hey everyone!

My fiancé and I are planning our honeymoon (from India) in the second week of February 2026, for about 10–12 nights in Italy. This will be our first time in Europe, so I’m really hoping to get some guidance from people who’ve been there!

After a lot of research, here’s the plan I’ve come up with so far: • Venice – 2 nights • Rome – 2 nights • Naples – 3 nights • Sorrento/Amalfi Coast – 3 nights

The idea is to start in the north (Venice) for the romantic canals, then go to Rome for its beautiful monuments and atmosphere, continue to Naples for the pizza, cafés, and lively vibe, and finally end in Sorrento/Amalfi Coast for some relaxed, coastal honeymoon time. BUT AGAIN, i don’t know which place would be more suitable for visiting in February so need suggestions for the itinerary.

I can still adjust the number of nights in each city, so I’d love some advice: • How many nights would you recommend in each city to really enjoy it? • Any must-visit cafés, restaurants, hidden gems, or experiences that we should not miss? • Any romantic or special activities (like boat rides, wine tastings, or day trips) worth booking? • Any particular hotel recommendations or best areas to stay in for each city?

Since it’s our first trip to Europe, I’d really appreciate any insights, tips, or small details that might make the experience smoother or more comfortable !
