So I booked a resort for 5 days in the Caribbean January 2025. I noticed a week or two after booking they removed the early bird discount I used (120 days in advance) and replaced with longer stay discounts (5 or more days).
The new rate would save me close to $900. I sadly missed my chance to book a new room while they were available and cancel the old one.
Besides money I’m also peeved because I could have gotten a more preferred week with the new policy. I am unable to change my flight to the better week.
So I emailed the resort and they responded saying although they changed policies I still have the early bird rate and it’s the lowest price (not true).
Should I: -contact them again? -cancel the room and pray it reappears on the site? -suck it up and be happy I have the room I want?
